AppLink Emulator Beta 1 Release

The first Beta release of AppLink Emulator (ALE) is finally here! ALE will let you connect an AppLink-enabled App and see how it would work with AppLink right on your computer.

Now, remember ALE is still in Beta. Some features are not yet fully supported, but we didn't want to wait any longer to get it out to you! We will continue to add more features so keep checking back for updates. We can't wait to see what awesome Apps you are going to come up with!

After logging in, ALE Beta 1 can be found within the Develop Tab under the AppLink Emulator link. Updated SDKs for use with ALE can be found in their respective locations under the Develop Tab.

Hello and welcome again to the Ford Developer Program! The response to the Dev Program has been amazing and we are very excited to have you here. While you have probably been working with our SDK and integrating the AppLink API into your apps, we have been hard at work developing our emulator. It is almost ready for beta release and we wanted to give you a sneak peak of what it will look like, so here it is! AppLinkEmulator Excited?! We are! With the emulator you will be able to see how your app works with AppLink right on your computer. We are feverishly working to get all of AppLink's capabilities into the emulator, so we can get it out to you. Look for the beta soon!

ALE 0.4.0 Release

Great news Developers! ALE
is now released!

With this latest update, ALE
now supports most of the RPCs available in-vehicle including Speak, Alert, AddCommand, PerformInteraction, and many more. We additionally re-defined the UI to include two panels that allow you to emulate issuing voice commands and choice set selections.

We remain dedicated to improving ALE's features and functionalities in the upcoming weeks. Refer to the Readme and accompanying guide to find information regarding the use of ALE.
